i know this might be a silly question but i am going to ask it anyway.
We want to track if a certain program (whether it be Visio, project, adobe, etc...)  that is installed is actually one provided by our company or a copy the user acquired from somewhere else? Is there anyway i could put a stamp of ownership or something similar on the software product or the package i send out and return that in a report? The problem i am facing is that we installed a lot of these apps prior to rolling out SMS so ideally i'd like to stamp these products as well and also programs we push out from now on. If anyone has any tips that would be great.

Assuming you have Asset Intelligence installed, there are reports in there that report on sales channel.  Presumably; an individual who installed Visio would use a retail license code.

This next suggestion would not be retroactive; it would be after you've updated your installations with customizations to the transform, but you could stamp your transforms, and pull the info back with a Hardware inventory extension.
