Hi all,

how can I manually publish site server in Active Directory.I set permissions on the System container, but the sitecomp.log log is written: 
  • Finished polling all servers SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER 1.10.2008 13:56:36 4948 (0x1354)
  • Publish Servers in Active Directory. SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER 1.10.2008 13:56:36 4948 (0x1354)
  • Site is set to not update Active Directory. SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER 1.10.2008 13:56:36 4948 (0x1354)



      I don't have Extend the Active Directory schema

      schema has to be extended.  Make sure you have selected, publish site in AD. (i think its selected by default)

      I can not expand Active Directory schema. I am not Enterprise Admin. It's problem. Can I manualy create the records in the system container? How?

      in SCCM its an option to extend AD,  You can install the SLP role on the server and the clients would use that.  If you manually created the OUs it really will not do anything for SCCM or clients as it will be irelevant.  Review the bellow link to see if you will benifit from extending the schema
