mstoten -> Attached Monitors Issue (10/1/2008 9:45:54 PM)

Hi,

I currently have a system in place where we get Warranty/Lease data out of the PC's Registry (by editing sms_def.mof). We are also able to retrieve the attached monitor using some of the tools from this site. I have one issue though, if a PC has one monitor attached  for one year and then a 2nd monitor is attached (brand new) the lease and warranty dates will be different for that specific monitor.

I don't want our guys to send all that equipment back when the lease period ends for the PC and 1st attached monitor as the 2nd monitor will still have warranty and not be at the end of its own lease period.

Is there a way I can distinguish when a PC has reached its end of lease date and whether or not it has a monitor attached that has not reached its end of lease date?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Should be able to, but without seeing the view name and the data in it, it'd be a little hard to help...

I have one table called WSCAdditionalData Info in this table includes: DisposalDate00, LeaseDate00, PurchaseDate00, WarrantyDate00, Location00

Other table is called Monitor_Information has fields such as: Manufacturer00, Serial_Number00, Manufacturer_Date00 etc

Does that help? let me know if more information is required.
