r2000 -> ZTI/SCCM - ReInstallation (10/4/2008 2:05:40 AM)

Hi.
I notice when i chose to reinstall my pc’s thru add & remove programs, the installation process tries to access my zti database with the computer account and not the Installation Account. So the reinstall doesn’t get any properties from the database and the installation failure.

In SMS 2003 you specified the Installation Account on Program Level for the Installation Package... How should this in SCCM?

Did you specify a "SQLShare" value in CustomSettings.ini (e.g. SQLShare=MyShare$)? This is used to make a connection to the server running SQL Server, using the ConfigMgr advanced client network access account.

Yes i have the Sqlshare specified.

But I get the following error.
Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again..
