sberat -> Client Health Collections Errorr (10/7/2008 1:46:15 PM)

Hi,

I'm getting this error in the Collection Evaluator for all Client Health Collections:
Microsoft SQL Server reported SQL message 17750, severity 16: [42000][17750][Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Could not load the DLL C:\Program Files (x86)\1E\WakeUp\Server\HealthXProc.dll, or one of the DLLs it references. Reason: 193(%1 is not a valid Win32 application.). : xp_ClientHealth

System is SCCM 2007 SP1/R2 running on Server 2008 x64.
ConfigMgr on SQL 2008 Named Instance

Thanks,
Serge

Serge, you should go straight into our Tech Support channel for help on this (support@1e.com) ... lot's of "2008" at play here and there may be some issues around SQL '08... dunno for sure, but I've heard some rumblings in that direction.

Ed,

Thanks, will probably do ... but it's not urgent (yet). Running in our Test environment.

Cheers,
Serge

tks for feedback... suggest if at all p;ossible to roll SQL back to 2005 as interim step to get this properly tested (I had to do exactly this only yesterday with another customer) until SQL2008 question can be properly addressed.

I will use your example as added input to our internal staff...

Serge,

We are running a query to find out if you are using SQL 2005 or 'higher' during the installation of 1E Wakeup.
If this is not the case we are installing a extended Stored Procedure called xp_ClientHealth.

It appears this extended Stored Procedure was created due to our product not reading the version 2008 correctly.
However the DLL for the stored procedure can now not be found on the server, this is most likely because the SQL Server is not on the same server as the ConfigMgr?

Like Ed said, the best way is to engadge us directly and run some queries against your SQL and create the correct 2008 compatible assemblies.
I believe you have my email address? I'll send you the required script file then.

Hi Reto,

Going to give some info here (sending you a private mail too).

System Info: All-in-One box
Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition x64
SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition x64
ConfigMgr: Named Instance (SQL - build 10.0.1763)
AgilityFramework: Named Instance (SQL - build 9.0.3200)

All 1E products are the 'latest and the greatest' as available on the website.

Cheers,
Serge

This has been resolved now. However other customers with SQL2008 should wait for the soon to be released hotfix for this. (or also contact support)

Basically our current installer does not detect SQL2008 correctly and thinks it'a a SQL2000 instead.
