lordkatz -> adv client install : Unexpected restart (10/9/2008 11:33:33 AM) Hy everybody, i have a trouble when i install the SMS 2003 advanced client on a few machine (900/5000) i make an sms program to upgrade my SP2 clients, it's work fine on my lab and on 4000 wks but on a few client, the web report of my advert tell me : program failed and the error is 'unnexpected restart (10021)' but the wks doesnt restart !!! I put the log tomorrow here because i can't now. when i check the failed wks, the client is not installed, the SP2 client still here and works fine .. for the moment !! :) ) is there a sure solution to properly install the SP3 client ? remove SP2 client before ? GPO ? logonscript with capinst ?(if i put the SP3 client on my sms share) ? any suggestions ?? thanks

skissinger -> RE: adv client install : Unexpected restart (10/9/2008 12:48:38 PM) Regarding installing the client, there's an excellent GPO SMS 2003 Client Health Startup script here.  You just need to tweak it a bit for your environment & client level.
