We have been using BDD2007 to image our 2003 servers by capturing an WIM with ImageX and then creating a build and a deployment point. We then would take the resulting ISO and burn it to a DVD for installation on a server that is in a remote location that we cannot push images to.
Is there a way to do this same thing in WDS? We are moving quickly to Server 2008 and found out the hard way that it does not support 2008. We do not have the ability to PXE boot in most of our locations and need a way to get a bootable image on a DVD for deployment.
