criticalerror -> Installing client on Citrix server no C: drive error (10/10/2008 4:38:16 PM)

I have a few Citrix servers that refuse to accept the sms 2003 sp3 client. This is the command I use:

\\s1067xx\SMSClient\i386\ccmsetup.exe ccminstalldir=M:\WINDOWS\system32\ccm /mp:S1067xx smscachesize=2048 smssitecode=auto

This has worked on the majority of boxes but there are still a handful that error out:

Invalid Drive: C:

Ive tried running ccmclean and then manually deleteing left over folders and then running the client.msi directly from the server with the same error.

Any ideas?

have  you switched the server into install mode?

Ok, so I switched my session to Install mode on the server, ran the client.msi again  .... still no love :(.

Issue resolved. I added the /removehistory switch to ccmclean, ran the command line above again and the client installed.
