Scottf -> SMS package that runs two programs (10/11/2008 7:10:26 PM)

Hi all,

I want to run to packages together in one advertisement (run office 2007 first, then run the "save to PDF" add in second. I created two separate packages and in the "save to PDF" package i told sms to deploy office 2007 first.  It ran on my test pc and when it was done, office 2007 was installed perfectly. The PDF addin didn't (sigh!)

here is a copy and paste of the error sms gives me after the ad ran

Severity    Type    Site code    Date / Time    System    Component    Message ID    Description
Error    Milestone    OTT    10/11/2008 2:26:56 PM    PC1398    Software Distribution    10003    An error occurred while preparing to run the program for advertisement "OTT20138" ("OTT00073" - "save to pdg"). The operating system reported error 2147942402: The system cannot find the file specified. Additional program properties:  Command line: SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe  Working directory: /quiet  Drive letter (? = any):     Possible cause: This message most commonly occurs when the program’s command-line executable file could not be found, when a required drive letter connection to a distribution point could not be established, or when the program is configured to use the SMS Software Installation Account but the account is not specified, could not be found, or does not have the appropriate permissions.  Solution: Check each of the items listed above.

I know the executable is in the "package source files\office 2007\updates folder, in fact i browsed to it when setting up the program, in the Start in line I used the /quiet as recommended. I am not sure what the message means  "working directory: /quiet Drive letter (?=any)"  I want the pdf portion to run silent as i roll these things out during business hours.

I am by no means a strong sms guy, so any help would be appreciated

thanks,
Scott

The first thing that jumped out at me was in the error where it says --An error occurred while preparing to run the program for advertisement "OTT20138" ("OTT00073" - "save to pdg")--  It should say "save to pdf" not g?  If you called it in the command line as save as pdf and the program is called save to pdg then it won't work.
