We have a central, 3 primaries, and approx 60 secondaries under each.

I put adobe reader 9 into the central and replicated to all of the child DP's..

Only a handful of sites got it. THey all say that they are targeted, but only about 5 secondaries under each primary is getting it and saying it is installed. I have tried updating it many times. The ones that get it say that they are source version 5.. the rest say version 0 and that they are targeted. I dont know of any changes on the servers,and i have not made any configuration changes.

All of a sudden i am seeing a large pck file in the despoolr.box. Turned put that i accidentally specified the wrong source for a package.. which made it 3 gigs. It replicated to all childs.. making the e: drive have 0 bytes free. I deleted the package from the central and then manually removed the pck file on each secondary... Now i am still seein that file reappear each night on some secondaries and filling the drive up.

Even the secondary sites that are no longer being filled up are still not getting the package i am trying to push out.

any help on where to start would be appreciated.

Right click the package and manage the DP's - remove it from all DP's. Then I'd delete the package and start over; watch the distmgr.log.

great, will give it a try in the morning.

Any idea what the large file in the despoolr.box might be? 2gigs+ on each DP... my biggest package is 700megs.

Hi Justin,

Could you pls have look on despool.log? Just check whether any job is in queue or pending. Pls send the log to me.

actually the despool log looks great.

I have been on the phone with microsoft all day and they had me apply patch KB950306 and everything seems to be working now.
