Can this utility be executed on a standalone distribution point? or can this utility be executed only on a primary site server or a secondary site server?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

My understanding is it's for primary/secondary site only.

Another question related to preloadpkgonsite.exe...

How are the <package ID>.DL$ files handled..or i am not sure if they need to be handled at all

or let me ask this basic question..are the contents of the <packageID>.DL$ files ultimately merged with the corresponding <packageID>.PCK files?

Should i just ignore the *.DL$ files during the preloadpkgonsite.exe process?
