Advanced clients can only belong to a primary site code.

yes but the question is another.
after the installation of the secondary site i see the client only under the secondary site or also in the primary site because clients are part of the same domain because i have actived directory system discovery on the primary site and  I can keep them separate even if they form part of the same domain??

thanks

If you want a client in a different location to receive different policies that those at the primary, you will need a primary child site at the other location instead of a secondary site.  A secondary site is very useful for managing traffic, but if your goal is to have different agents enabled or disabled, or different agent cycles, a child primary site will allow you to have those different settings.

If I have still mis-understood your question, I apologize.

my goal is to have the same settings of the primary site but excluding that clients of the secondary site must be seen only from the secondary site even if they form part of the same domain and empowered active directoty system discovery

What do you mean by "clients of the secondary site must be seen only from the secondary site"?  By design, any client in the hierarchy will have it's data replicated up to higher levels.  Additionally, since a secondary site does not have a database, any data on a client which happens to fall within the boundaries of a secondary site must be listed on the primary site to which it belongs.

Perhaps I should word this differently.  What is your end goal?  Depending upon what it is, you may be able to achieve your goal by creating collections at the primary site, and assigning security rights.

maybe I'll explain why evil is not much that I use SMS.There are the boundaries of my primary site. I fear that doing the same domain the secondary site clients appear me on both sites.

tell me if I misunderstood.

thanks

Ah.  this is a boundary question!

Yes, if you set your Boundaries at both the primary and the Secondary site to be the exact same ADSite name, it will create the condition of "overlapping boundaries", which will cause massive confusion on any clients which are within that ADSite boundary.

The fix is to not use ADSites at all, and only IP Subnets, or to have a AD Site defined for the IP Subnets in the Secondary Site location (which means an additional Domain Controller server), and you remove the IP subnets from the other AD Site.
