hello,

How do I run a query so that it will show me which clients are on sccm and which are on sms 2003?

are you manageing both from SCCM.. if so their is a built in report that will give you that info.

Will a report be good enough? Try the "Count SMS Client Versions" 2.50.xxx is 2003 clients (the difference in multiple 2.50.xxx is Service Pack), and 4.00.xx are ConfigMgr

report #70 should work for you.. Count SMS Client Versions
report #99 Count Client Assigned and installed for each site
