Hi folks, I've created an MST file using ORK to install a custom Office 2003. I'd either set a feature to be installed or disabled and used a prepared Office 2003 admin installation with SP3 patched. Now after the installation, once in a while, a feature starts to re-install itself. It can happen in word, excel or outlook, it doesn't happen always when starting a program. I then figured out when opening the control panel - add/remove programs and click on "change" for the Microsoft Office 2003, all features are set to "Install on demand" (yellow 1). I change them all back to either install locally or disabled, there are a couple of copying actions. Then I close the control panel, open it up again and have the same yellow 1 set for all features again. I've no idea how to tell this installation not to use the function "Install on demand". And those same features get installed not every time, but sometimes where I'd expect that when a feature has been installed, it shouldn't be necessary to install again. It looks like a lack of permission but I'm logged-in with a user with local admin rights on the machine. Does anybody have an idea, the same effect or can lead me in a specific direction? I suspect the Office 2003 SP3 behaving strange, but I didn't get it confirmed yet through any of the articles I found. I haven't tried a manual installation yet but a collegue told me that he gets the same effect when installing on a fresh Windows XP machine using the command-line and the MST. I checked the MST file and all features are set the way I want them to be set. I'm at the end of ideas. Ingrid
