Prestaging source files for secondary site installation
Friday, June 08, 2012 1:08 PM

I've been reading that it is possible to pre-stage these installation files, but I can't find a definitive list of what needs to be staged. Is it the entire DVD contents, or a specific subset? I have multiple sites that have a single T1 that I really don't want to try pushing the install from the parent. Thanks, Joe

Ya, that's what I was reading. I'll play with it this weekend, and get it figured out. Thanks for the response, Brian. As always, very helpful.

Just copy your SCCM 2012 installation folder to the local drive of the secondary site server. then point to it during installation.
