Auditing for Windows File Servers Wednesday, January 04, 2012 8:48 AM (permalink)

All:

My company has 6 Windows 2003 file servers with about 2.500 users  We would like to audit the access , creation, deletion, and modification of files and folders on these servers.  We have tried the Windows default auditing, however, the information is overwhelming and difficult to retrieve any information from.
Does anyone have any suggestion for a thirdy party auditing software, that includes reporting, and archiving to a centralized server.

Thank You

Yes, I know this is an old post, I’m trying to clean up older posts that are unanswered.
Did you ever figure this out?

    Have you looked at OpsMgr?
