Some MED-V 2.0 questions

Hi I know this forum has been quiet for a while however I have a few questions about implementing MED-V 2.0 - if I'm asking the question in the wrong place feel free to redirect me - I just don't want to start badly by cross-posting So we're at the stage of having all the MED-V client components deployable via SCCM and have worked up a basic Win XP Pro SP3 syspreped image that deploys, joins the directory, has the SCCM client installed and allows software to be deployed - all is okay, but.... - How do I implement some sort of pass-through authentication so that the users don't have to logon to the image when they first fire up an app??
- How do I prevent items from the guest OS presenting themselves in the host OS's system tray, i.e. anti-virus and the SCCM widget 'A new program is available to be run (Remote)'??
- How can i get the guest OS to fire up, without a logged on user, so that I can install applications at a particular time of night??
That's all for now but I'm sure that I will have more questions with time Many thanks in advance Greg

There was a discussion about this recently on the ConfigMgr email list. There's a couple people there who are actively using this. I'll see if I can get them to respond here.

1. I don't think there a native ones that can be used. The only option given is for the user to log-on initially and save credentials (link below #9) 2. The option would be " Unattended setup, without any notification," during package creation. (link below #5) 3. I'm not sure about this one. We start medv project but was put on hold after finding out h/w requirements. I will check if I can find something regarding this. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg548584.aspx

Hi Cabrego Many thanks for your post, yes, I've seen that link and many others similar.... - Was hoping maybe someone had found a way
 - I believe that your suggestion is only relevant for when the workspace is starting, my question is based on once the guest OS is fired up....the guest AV and guest ConfigMgr system tray icons are being presented to the host OS system tray - many users will find this confusing and I think this is not an ideal situation
Thanks again Greg
