Have copied and pasted the query from your link into the SCCM report SQL query but when running getting "No matching records could be found". Any suggestions?

Here is Query that I use to build a collection off of. This might help you out.

select SMS_R_System.ResourceId, SMS_R_System.Name, SMS_G_System_WORKSTATION_STATUS.LastHardwareScan from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_WORKSTATION_STATUS on SMS_G_System_WORKSTATION_STATUS.ResourceID = SMS_R_System.ResourceId where SMS_G_System_WORKSTATION_STATUS.LastHardwareScan < DateAdd(dd, -30,GetDate())
