USMT 4.0 Question Thursday, August 16, 2012 11:55 AM (permalink)

OK Here's what I am up against.   Multiple domain service accounts we want to exclude.  Old domain user accounts which should not have been used in the last 30 days.  And of course we need to exclude local user accounts.
I know we can do one or the other as far as Old domain users or domain service accounts.  As far as local account to get around that I simple don't restore them.
OSDMigrateAdditionalCaptureOptions = /uel:30 to exclude old doamin accounts.

OSDMigrateAdditionalRestoreOptions = /ue:%computername%\* To not restore local computer accounts.

Any idea how we can exclude the domain service accounts as well?

If you know what user's data you want to transfer, then do a /ue:*\* and then a /ui:domain\username. In USMT by default, a UI overrides any UE, so exclude everybody except the one user you want transferred. I never had any luck with a /uel. It really matters what order you put the arguments in in the CMD line as well.
