I stood up a new DP for a remote office, and everything seemed fine. The DP role installed without issue.
However, when I try distributing existing packages to it, or deploying new packages, I get several errors in DistMgr.log saying that the DP could not be contacted.

Cannot establish connection to ["Display=\\Office-DP13.domain.com\"]MSWNET:["SMS_SITE=TSM"]\\CN-SCCM-DP.a-e.transyscorp.com\. Error = 53
The firewall is disabled on the site server and the DP.
The site server is in the Local Administrators group on the DP.
All of the SMS shares were created and are accessible.
I am able to connect from the site server to the DP on the Admin$ share, the C$ share, and I can create folders and copy data on those shares.

I thought maybe the problem was the WMI namespace SCCMDP was not created properly, so I created it with the command
The errors all point to network connectivity problems, but there are none.
I would appreciate any help or guidance or pointing to a page with outside-the-box things to test.

We have SCCM 2012 SP1 installed with 12 working DPs.
