Inventory mapped drives? Can't find Datashift.vbs Wednesday, March 19, 2014 12:55 PM (permalink)

I've found several blog posts that detail how to inventory mapped drives in Configmgr 2007 using SCCM Expert's datashift.vbs but it doesn't appear to be available for download any longer.  Is that an alternate method or script anywhere?  Failing that, does anyone have a copy of datashift.vbs that they can send me?

I "probably" still have that old thing somewhere.  But really...I should spend some time recreating it; and using elements from the routine worked out with John Marcum on the PSTFinder script routine, so that it's two scripts: run one as SYSTEM to create the custom namespace, and run the 2nd one under user context so that the user's info about mapped drives can be gathered.  That old datashift.vbs one was written way back when everyone was a local admin, so it didn't care about rights.  It simply won't work well on today's Operations Systems.
Let me play a bit...send me a private email or message; and I'll forward you (once I have something sorta working) and you can be the beta tester...

Update:  I blogged it.  Only tested it in a lab; but it should work:  http://mnscug.org/blogs/sherry-kissinger/315-configmgr-inventory-per-user-mapped-drive-information-datashift-replacement
