IT/Dev Connections Welcomes Liam Cleary as Chair for Enterprise Collaboration Track Thursday, January 05, 2017 1:24 PM (permalink)
With the new year revved up, a new IT/Dev Connections web site due around Friday, January 13th, and the call for content kicking off in a couple weeks, you’ll be happy to know that we’re also finalizing those individuals who will be in charge of the content for our technical tracks.
Prior to the new year, we announced John Savill for the Cloud & Data Center track, Ami Casto for the Enterprise Mgmt, Mobility, & Security track, and Chander Dhall for the Development and DevOps track – all recognized industry experts in their fields.
Today, we’re happy to announce that we’ve finalized the Track Chair for the Enterprise Collaboration track. Liam Cleary is another very recognizable industry expert and will bring a fresh perspective to a track that is focused deeply on Office 365, Exchange (on-premises and cloud-based), Skype for Business, SharePoint and other collaborative products.

Track: Enterprise Collaboration

Track Chair: Liam Cleary
Liam began his career as a Trainer of all things computer related. He quickly realized that programming, breaking and hacking was a lot more fun. He spent the next few years working within core infrastructure and security services, until he found SharePoint. He now works as a Solution Architect for Protiviti in Virginia. His core focus is to ensure that SharePoint can either natively or with minimal customization meet the business requirement. He is also an ten time SharePoint MVP focusing on Architecture but also crosses the boundary into Development. His specialty over the past few years has been security in SharePoint and its surrounding platforms. He can often be found at user groups or conferences speaking, offering advice, spending time in the community, teaching his kids how to code, raspberry PI programming, hacking the planet or building Lego robots.
