Access denied or no permission when useing domain admin in win 7 Sunday, January 29, 2017 9:31 AM (permalink)

Hello to you,
I have a windows 7 computer in my domain that I was trying to raise the user permission of the user whit my domain admin account. Every thing I tried to do I am getting " access denied" or no permission  I tried to reset the local administrator's password and received the same massage. It is like I am using user with no permeation.
I have deleted the computer form the domain and tried to pul it from domain to workgroup and I saw that the "change button" is grayed out.
I hope that some one can help me.

Regards,

Michel v

Just because you are a Domain Admin, does mean that you have access the a computer. It is easy to remove DA from the local administrator group.

You need to find an account with local admin access, there isn't much else you can do.
