tempdb files Monday, September 25, 2017 10:45 PM (permalink)

Hi,

Is it necessary to have multiple tempdb files spread across the logical drives ?
Or it is better to have 1 larger tempdb file in a single logical drive ?
I am using SAN storage, so in terms of the disks arrangement, it is already properly spread across for performance as well as for redundancy.

Hope to get your comment or feedback or what you feel one should arrange the tempdb files.

Thanks
