*Edit - May 7
The collections menu will now show up in the left window pane when looking at the devices in a collection.
*Edit - May 4
I changed the install to work off the SMS_Admin_UI_Path environment variable so it should automatically find the install path. I also added a Show Collections tool. Something like this was in a pack for SCCM 2007, but something changed in WMI for SCCM 2012 and the old one wasn't working correctly. I made a new one and added it to Console Tools. Let me know if anyone has any problems with it.
*Edit - May 3 2PM Central time
I just updated the tools. The menu will now show up when you right click on a device in a collection. Before it only would show if you right clicked on a device in the Devices root.
I couldn't find a pack of right click tools for SCCM 2012, so I made my own based on two other packs. I used the tools put together by Dan Ireland as a base, and then added some tools from Rich Houchins. The original packs for SCCM 2007 are here:
I wrote a simple install script for this that should work on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. Just run Right Click Tools Install.cmd, then close and reopen config manager and enjoy your tools!
I haven't been able to test all of the tools, but the ones I've looked at all seem to be working correctly. Most of them just use WMI to perform the actions, and WMI doesn't seem to of changed much between 2007 and 2012.
Please let me know if there are any problems and I can get them fixed and update the tools!
If there already is a pack out there and I just missed it, disregard this post and please let me know where it is
