Looking for a Pre-Authentication Wireless Solution

We are moving to windows 7 and currently on our Windows XP machines we use Odyssey Access Client. For windows XP, the OAC client allows the wireless client to connect like if on a wire. New users can come up to any station and login without a wired network connection. It does not work the same with windows 7. So I am looking to find a new product OR use the native client. I found the 802.11x settings and that works great for users that have logged in before but new users cant login. Has anyone found something that does this or any suggestions on what to try?

One way, is to use RADIUS with a machine-based certificate. Instead of doing per-user auth.
