After a new build of SMS2003 I'm not able to push the SMS client out to my clients

* Site and MP are correctly published in AD
* Schema is updated with ExtADsch
* Security of Push Client account is correct
* Site server has security rights to the System container in AD

I'm lost.....who's got any idea?

Are you trying to push with Auto-Discovery, or via the console? Do you have discovery turned on? Check the log files associated with client push and discovery ( a list of what each log file tells you is found on Support here).

Please be more descriptive of the problem. Any errors in log files? Where is the failure occuring? Do a search for SMS 2003 troubleshooting flowcharts and revieew the one for client push. That will help you find where the break is and then we can help resolve.

Both! Clients are not installed via auto-discovery neither via the console. Discovery is turned on, will check the logs again. Thanks

I've seen a few things that would cause the clients to not be installed...

1.  File/Print Sharing corrupt or missing
2.  WMI broken
3.  Client network access account problem; i.e. no rights on the target machine

Check that the target machines have file/print sharing enabled AND working.  It could be listed, but still fail when you try to hit the admin shares like admin$ or c$.  An uninstall/reinstall will usually fix that.  For WMI problems, there's a few things you can do.  The easiest of which is to run the wmirepair.exe tool that's included in Roger Zander's SMS Client Center tool (http://sourceforge.net/projects/smsclictr).  It requires .NET 2.0 or higher before it will run though.

Thank you all, after all it was a AD/boundaries problem.
