Now we need to create shared folders to hold the User Data and the log files.
On a server create two new folders. MigData and Logs.
Right Click on the MigData Folder and select properties > Security Tab. Then click the advanced button
Uncheck the "Allow inheritable permissions from the parent to propogate to this child and all child objects. Include these with entries explicitly defined here"
Select the option to remove the permissions (Remove Button).
Now click the Add button.
Enter Domain Computers and click OK.
Select This Folder Only and give permission "Create Folders / Append Data".
Now add the exact same permissions for Domain Users.
Click add again and this time enter CREATOR OWNER.
From the Apply onto list select "Subfolder and files only" and "Full Control".
Creator Owners are added.
Now add the Administrators group and any other group that will need to access all of the users data.
This is the finshed permissions for MigData.
Now Click the Sharing Tab. The BDD Docs (Zero TOuch Installation Guide pg 24) do not mention actually sharing the folder or share permissions.
For now just set the Share Permissions to Everyone Write
