Deployment Options: Restarts

• If postponement is permitted and a user selects to apply updates before the deadline, the user will be given the opportunity to restart their system if required
  • If user does not restart after updates are applied, the system will be restarted, if necessary, when the deadline is reached
• If updates are applied automatically at the deadline, the system will be restarted, if necessary, after updates complete
• If Maintenance Windows are applied, systems will only restart during those windows unless the Deployment specifies to allow restarts outside the maintenance windows
  • 
• The standard Restart countdown is set in the Computer Client Agent Properties
  • It can be overridden in a collection's Patch Install Settings
