As you entered the room at the myITforum.com party in 2004 (sponsored by Wise Solutions, now Altiris), the audio speakers were blaring Steppenwolf's "
Born to be Wild". It was not a coincidence since Wise was giving away a
Harley Davidson motorcycle at MMS 2004. Folks could even visit the Wise booth and have their picture taken sitting atop the two-wheeled beast.
The additional little, funny thing that Wise did that year was to super-impose my face onto a motorcycle rider from "
Easy Rider" (Peter Fonda) and blast it on a wall using a projector system. Here it is in all it's glory:
