Well - I realized I left a pc out. The ResourceRoot.
The part we are going to follow is here in the
BDD Docs Online - Resource Root
We modified it slightly from what the docs say.
Open the Deployment workbench and navigate to Deploy > Deployment Points - Right click > NEW.
Select Seperate deployment share.
Give the Deployment Point a name - I chose Resource.
Does not matter what you choose here.

Enter in the server you want your Package on.
This will eventually become the source for a SMS Package so you might want to put it where all of your other source files go
Does not matter what you choose here.
Right Click on the new Deployment Point and select Properties.
DESELECT All Images here. In the Beta version it was necessary to select one, but it is no longer a requirement. Thanks to Ben Hunter for that pc of information. The pic below shows an image selected, but that is not necessary. I will update the image ASAP.
Select at least one app to install.
Select all of your Drivers.
Right click on your new Deployment Point and select Update.
I encountered an error when I did this.
I found that I had to actually create the Resource folder on the server (7 steps back) before I tried to use it.
The workbench seems to be able to share the folder out and set permissions, but it cannot actually create the folder. At least it did not for me.
Here is my completed Resource Folder.

- Now open the Applications Folder and delete everything in it.
- Then open the Operating Systems folder and delete everything in it.
Then go and make a new SMS Package and set the Data Source to the Deployment Point we just created.
Then on the Data Access tab Share the Package (I chose BDD2007ResourceRoot)
Here is a view of the Shared Package.
Now go back to your OSD Deployment Point and select Properties.
On the Rules tab of the Deployment Properties dialog box enter in your ResourceRoot value in the default section.
We are using Default because we will use the same value for everything.
In this example I am using the value ResourceRoot=\\%SMSDP%\BDD2007ResourceRoot$.
Be sure and Update the files in all three locations - Workbench, OSD Package files, and DP's
