Check with your TAM, you may qualify for Desktop Deployment Planning Services (DDPS) credits.
Typically, they come in 3, 5 and 10 day increments.
There is a rigid set of deliverables out of it, but it does in a nut shell what you want at varying levels.
You can expect many Gold Partners & MCS to be able to fulfill these services.

Below is a list of Gold Partners and others that qualify for and will agree to do DDPS Enagagements.
They are listed in alphabetical order with a link to their website.
Each description of services is limited to 100 words. This is a growing list - if your firm is not represented here please drop me an email with the link and description to hemsell -AT- gmail -DOT- com and I will gladly add it.
Your TAM is also a wonderful source to find out who provides this service in your area..

Q - I recently found out we don’t have a TAM. We are a select customer with SA on enterprise products only.
A - Even with your SA agreement you get support hours, I don’t recall what the ratio is. But you should talk to your Account Manager from MSFT and see if they can work something out for you. You get a TAM when you purchase Premier Support, this is a separate contract from your SA agreement

Another Tip - Look for a partner who has a licensing specialist on staff…they are worth their weight in gold for finding funding, especially when you are renewing license agreements.

From Mr. Niehaus -
For more information on DDPS, see Desktop Deployment Planning Services This links to the Directory of DDPS providers.
