Error 80091007 means a component failed its hash check. Refresh the component and try again, or change the advertisement to run from DP instead of downloading.

If the capture step fails with error 80070056, the account or password entered in the Details page were incorrect. Edit the task sequence, select the Capture step, and reenter the information. This also happens in the initial version of MDT, which does not save the password correctly. That is corrected in the latest version.

The same problem occurs with the account used to join the domain in an image deployment. The same causes and correction apply.

If you use the UnknownComputer process with boot media and it keeps reporting that it can't identify the proper site, make sure you updated the web.config file properly. For example, it's easy to miss removing the commenting brackets around the network access account line.
  • This error has been seen in random cases. The cause is unknown and being investigated.

If the Software Updates task fails, saying that the refresh timed out, you need to add a line tht identifies the site server on the Setup Windows and ConfigMgr task. See the Task Edits page for details.

If the Software Updates task does not apply any updates, make sure you created a Software Updates deployment for all desired updates and advertised it to the collection used for the image capture.
